To members of the Mars Community,

Attached is my letter report on the MEPAG meeting of Feb. 20-21, 2008, which I presented this week to the Chair of the Planetary Science Subcommittee of the NAC. There are significant issues described here that relate to the future of the Mars Exploration Program, so I encourage everybody to read it. For those of you who were not able to attend in person, I am assembling a more detailed summary of the major agenda items that were discussed at the MEPAG meeting, and when this document is ready it will be posted on the MEPAG web site.
